Beautiful quality original 98 year old silver example, decorated with attractive engraved scroll-work, with a sprung silver push-button lid opener and it hangs from its original silver link chain with silver finger ring. Inside it still has its original lined interior and has 3 separate compartments. 66 grams and is engraved with a fine period entwined monogram. Looks very little used. 6.75 inches (169mm) in length (including hanging chain), x 3.65 inches (92mm) wide and is 0.95 inches (24mm) deep. Date Antique English solid sterling silver with a f ull set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1918 (date letter “t”). Has clear matching silver hallmark stamps on both sides of the purse. The sprung silver push button lid catch works perfectly and the lid opens and closes tightly and securely. C omplete with original silver link chain and finger ring.
