Beautiful and high quality Edwardian pendant in sterling silver and kingfisher colour enamels. Typical art nouveau designs intertwined leaves but heart shaped and a heart on a link at the base. A mother of pearl disc sits amidst the leaves. The silver and enamel is in very good condition with a small area of enamel absent on the heart around the link hole. The pendant is fully hallmarked as made by W. D (probably William Devenport) assayed in Birmingham England, lion passant to indicate sterling silver, with a date letter to indicate 1909/1910. The pendant is enamelled front and reverse which indicates quality and care of manufacture. The chain is marked sterling. Length of silver chain 23cm drop. Length of pendant 8cm, length of solid silver pendant from top to the base of the heart 5.7cm. W idth of pendant at widest point 4.5cm. Please ask any questions or request further photos.
