Here I have an antique Victorian Scottish brooch in the form of a sheathed dirk or dagger. It’s made from a carved wood, which I believe to be ebony. There are little silver studs within the “woven” handle and engraved bands around the top and bottom of the sheath part. The end is set with a citrine gemstone. It fastens with a c-clasp on the back. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. All items are sent UNBOXED, in an organza gift bag. Measures 8.9cm x 1.4cm. Weighs 8.2 grams.
