Beautiful LARGE Victorian SOLID Silver Keepsake LOCKET with HAIR Pendant & Chain. WELCOME TO CLASSIQUE JEWELLERY! You are previewing a wonderfully simple, yet still beautiful, solid silver locket from the late 19th Century, c. There are no Hallmarks or stamps that I can find but it has been fully and independently tested to Sterling purity solid silver. It is a large PLAIN locket, polished to both sides, having no decoration. It measures 3.6 cms, 4.8 cms including the bale, by 2.9 cms. It weighs a HEAVY and substantial 13.31 grams, 17.9 grams including the chain. This beauty opens to reveal its real treasure, an all original interior with fittings and glass panels housing sections or woven hair, gold braid and seed pearls. This is almost certainly a LOVE locket and not a memorial piece, to my mind. Of course, this can be used to house keepsakes, photographs, portraits or whatever of your own choosing. It is fitted on a vintage, but much later, Sterling silver chain of inches length that compliments this fine locket well. It is in a good condition, considering that it probably around 140 years old. The hinge and clasp are secure and solid and the interior glass and fittings are all original. There are a couple of pimples that serve to enhance its charm and authenticity in my opinion, rather than detract from what is a wonderful yet simple locket of quality. Dont let it get away! The brooch measures one inches by one & a quarter inches and is all set in a solid silver frame, which although not marked is tested & guarranteed solid silver. The cameo is made of lava and is really beautiful and exquisitely carved of the head & shoulders of a bacchante, in beautiful raised detail and highly quality carved. The cameo needs a pin & Cclasp put on or a bail for wearing as a pendant, as it looks as if this piece may have come from a bracelet and dates to the victorian period and as with age this cameo is finely carved & just needs a good polish, see pics. This really is a beautiful victorian rare lava cameo in good origional complete condition as stated and such an attractive example of these. Beautiful Solid Silver Art Nouveau Plique-à-jour Dragonfly Bangle Cuff Bracelet. Weighs 24.40 grams solid sterling silver. Carries a full English hallmark; “JS” sponsor mark inside a shield, “925″ for sterling solid silver purity and the “anchor” for Birmingham assay office. The hallmark can be clearly seen with a jeweller’s loop. A beautiful Art Nouveau dragonfly cuff bracelet made from solid sterling silver. The wings wrap around the wrist when worn. The wings are filled with plique a jour enamel in tones of emerald green, amethyst purple and sapphire blue. The wings are set with four gilson fire opals. The dragonfly has two real ruby gem stones for eyes and there is another larger gilson fire opal set for it’s body. The bracelet measures 5 cm deep (length of dragonflies body) and the wing span measures just over 7 inches without a 1.25 inch gap to the back (total circumference 8.25 inches with the gap). The bracelet will open out larger or close smaller to suit. The inside of the bracelet is fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office solid sterling silver and signed with the inititals JS. Beautiful Arts & Craft Quality Solid Silver, & Irish Connemara Marble Brooch. Here is a really beautiful arts & craft solid silver & irish connemara marble brooch. The brooch is really lovely it measures one & a half inches by one & a threequarter inches & is all made of solid silver. This brooch is really beautiful & is in thick solid silver with a lovely ornate pierced frame with the most lovely ornate engravings all around the central gemstone. Nicely the centre is all inset with real irish connemara marble which is cabouchon & polished with its lovely colour & markings & securely claw set. On the back of the brooch it has a pin & rolling Cclasp working well & is clearly marked for sterling silver & looks to be a arts & craft bernard instone piece but i think this is a later shiptons example, but a real quality example & needs a polish & looks to date around the 1950s. This really is a delightful vintage brooch in very good origional complete condition and a really beautiful quality example of these. The earrings measure a one & a half inch drop & are all set in solid silver, which is clearly marked for silver & 925. These earrings are really lovely with a lovely typical early drop style & inset with a lovely moonstone. The moonstone is set in its own secure collet setting, polished & cabouchon with its beautiful natural colours of grey/white/silver & joined by a silver link. The earrings were on early screw backs which i have changed to solid silver leverbacks & date clearly to around the edwardian/art deco era. These really are beautiful antique moonstone earrings in good origional complete condition that look lovely worn & a really beautiful example of these.
