VICTORIAN Solid SILVER Yellow & Rose Gold Floral Photo Locket c1900 & 16.5Chain. A fine, antique Victorian locket in solid silver, c1900, on a later chain. The locket does not bear any hallmarks but has been jeweller tested and is guaranteed silver. Beautifully decorative, the floral display to the front has roses & forget me nots picked out in yellow and rose gold. The back is plain silver. Inside are two period photos of a lady & gent, both framed without glass gent side frame is loose and prone to falling out.. Probably would be solved by new glass or plastic cover. Hinged bail to top of raised shoulders. Suspended from a later silver coloured metal chain of 16.5 length, with a bolt ring fastener. The chain has an unusual and attractive link. Measurements: locket is 1 7/8″ by 1″ (incl bail). Total weight: 15.86gms. In good antique condition; some scratches & pin prick ding to back of case; commensurate with age & use.
