A beautiful large oval shaped locket with deep fine engraving of a leaf pattern to the front and a star and beaded ball surround. The locket comes complete with a large sterling silver chain from the same period with leaf engraving to each section. Hallmarks ; Birmingham anchor, date letter t, lion and makers marks to locket. Weight ; 55.2 grams all in. Size ; 38mm x 46mm locket without loupe, 17 1/2 inch chain, 14mm wide. Condition ; Excellent for age. Very crisp pattern throughout. Working hinge and clasp to locket.
