A BEAUTIFUL 1940′S ROLEX MILITARY ISSUE POCKET WATCH MOVEMENT HOUSED IN A SOLID 935 SILVER OMEGA WATCH CASE. THIS WATCH IS A NICELY DONE MARRIAGE OF A ROLEX CAL 548 MILITARY WATCH MOVEMENT AND A SILVER OMEGA CASE. THE MOVEMENT FITS PERFECTLY WELL AND THIS IS AN EXCELLENT QUALITY FUNCTIONING POCKET WATCH. A WATCH FOR THE OMEGA/ROLEX COLLECTOR, OR ENTHUSIAST. This is a stunning, and beautiful SOLID 935 SILVER FULLY SIGNED OMEGA 4 piece pocket watch case. The case is in good original condition for its advanced years showing only light wear to parts of the case (see pics). The case sides have some small dings but the back shows nice engine turning and just a few pin head dings. The dust cover shows a few dings and light wear. The inside of the case back is fully marked TWICE for the OMEGA WATCH COMPANY. All of the covers snap to as they should. The watch measures 5.0cms (50mm) across, excluding the crown and silver chain ring. This is a nice original OMEGA watch case. This is an absolutely lovely, and most importantly totally original fully signed white dial IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. The dial shows no hairlines The dial is signed “ROLEX” in black painted lettering and’Swiss Made’ on the bottom of the dial. It has painted Arabic and numerals bordered by a black minute track which is in good original condition. The beautiful blued steel’spade’ style contemporary minute, hour and minute hands are in excellent condition. This is a really lovely dial in excellent original condition. The glass crystal may be original, is showing light wear and is in very good order. This is a beautiful and absolutely genuine ROLEX FULLY SIGNED AND NUMBERED HI GRADE cal 548 15 jewel GENUINE ROLEX manual wind movement. It has a beautiful finish and is FULLY signed on the top plate in a beautiful typesetting, showing its true ROLEX roots. The watch winds smoothly and sets with ease. It is in full running condition and has nice action. As always a full service would be recommended for optimum performance and timekeeping. The watch is keeping good time as tested over a 12 hour period. The white metal original crown looks genuine to the movement and is in excellent condition showing slight normal wear. THIS IS A FABULOUS AND RARE. MILITARY ISSUE ROLEX TIMEPIECE IN ITS SOLID 935 SILVER OMEGA CASE. IF YOU ARE AN ENTHUSIAST OR COLLECTOR YOU WOULD BE MAD TO MISS THIS HOROLOGICAL BEAUTY.
