Strung on silk, all of the larimar beads are 12mm large, beautifully polished and all unique in tone and marbling. The full string of 12mm beads are spaced with small faceted clear crystals and complete with an antique sterling silver marcasite stone set clasp with additional sterling silver safety chain. The stones are beautiful, a gorgeous tone of pale blue to aquamarine with natural marbling. Unclasped the necklace measures 20.25. Inches end to end or circumference. It also weighs 83.40 grams on jewellery scales, looks really gorgeous on, this is hand made and unique, the only one like it on the internet. Very rare beads and beautifully crafted. Larimar, also called “Stefilia’s Stone”, is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean.
