Vintage Art Nouveau c1910 Large Solid Silver Dragonfly Brooch Morpho Butterfly Wing A stunning sterling silver and butterfly wing dragonfly brooch in the style of a Thomas L Mott Most (there is no TLM mark but it certainly looks like his work), made between 1900 and 1910. The large wings are inlaid with butterfly wing topped with a lovely, cabochon rock crystal. It is in very good antique condition with just some minor discolouration to the butterfly wing on both tips of the wings (please view photos) and light tarnishing and tiny dents to the silver in places It comes in a vintage box from a similar era It is marked to its rear with’Silver. 3′ It measures 80.88mm wide by 62.12mm high and weighs 18.73 grammes Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description Please view my other listings. Fabulous Edwardian Rare Solid Silver Butterfly Wing Cameo Brooch. Here is a beautiful edwardian rare solid silver butterfly wing brooch. The brooch measures threequarters of an inch by nearly one & a quarter inches and is all set in solid silver. The brooch has a lovely early engraved rope style border and inset is a real butterfly wing which has lost some of its intense irredescent blue colour, so is brown in places, but this doesnt detract as it has the most fabulous sulphide cameo of a mythological lady in fabulous detail of a goddess & eagle in very good clear detail and then domed by glass. The butterfly wing is quite beautiful with its fabulous irredescent colours of blue and this kind of jewellery was very popular in the victorian- edwardian eras and you see some lovely ones & this is a rare cameo example & i have not seen one similiar of this subject before. This brooch has a pin & Cclasp working well & on the back it is marked for sterling silver, made in england, pt no-220213 and dates to around the edwardian era and just has wear as you would expect with age. This really is a lovely edwardian quality butterfly wing cameo brooch in good origional complete condition and a really lovely rare subject cameo example of these & certainly one for the serios collector. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. A stunning Solid silver and enamel pendant depicting a beautiful butterfly with exquisitely detailed veining on the wings, visible under the Blue Purple Enamel. The piece is fully signed to the back with the distinctive CH punch. Probably dated to 1911, it is typical of the arts and crafts art nouveau designs commissioned by Liberty & Co Store from the best of the worlds designers. Its typical of Liberty & Co pieces of that era. There were several designers using this medium of design during this era, amongst those the most notable were, Merle und Mayer, Patriz Huber, Archibald Knox, Jessie M King, Theador Fahmer, Charles Horner, James Fenton & Murrie Bennet. Liberty pieces were produced by Heselers of Birmingham, these were the only silversmiths working for Liberty & Co and they produced the Cymric Silver ware range and tudric pewter range. It measures just over 1 across the wing tips and is suspended from an 18 hallmarked Silver chain. Here I have an antique French solid silver bangle bracelet. It features a beautiful engraved decoration with yellow and rose gold overlay – there’s a bird, lily of the valley flowers and butterflies. It fastens with a push-in clasp and it’s got full French silver hallmarks on the tongue of the clasp. All items are sent UNBOXED. Measures 2.0cm across the front and 7 around the inside.
