ANOTHER RARE WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE! OFFERED TODAY IS THIS VERY RARE AND BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE FULLY. HALLMARKED SOLID SILVER 19. SWISS MADE’UP/DOWN’ 2 REGISTER RATTRAPANT CHRONOGRAPH STOP/POCKET WATCH. This is a BEAUTIFUL solid sterling silver watch case. The case measures 5. The case back has no engravings. The case back shows quite a lot of small. Couple of small dings. Through normal age related wear. Is in good condition. Pair of small owners initials lightly scratched into it E. The case sides are good and the bezel is good with a couple of dings. The covers snap’to’ as they should. The chain ring is original and is marked for solid silver. The inside of the case is fully hall marked with. The Assay mark is for London and the date mark is 1913. This is a very nice unsigned brilliant white dial. Both up/down registers are in very good order. All of the hands are present and are in great condition. The dial has black ROMAN numerals which are in mint condition with a black outer minute track. The crystal is made from GLASS and could be the original. As such it shows light wear. This lovely watch is fitted with an absolute. Beautiful FULLY OMEGA SIGNED. Swiss jeweled chronograph movment. The movement winds and sets smoothly. BUT THE CROWN MUST BE PUSHED AWAY FROM THE CASE WHEN WINDING due to age related wear and tear. The movement is numbered 401xxxxx dating it to 1913 and in keeping with the silver hallmarks meaning that this movement and case are matched. Has just been FULLY SERVICED by my watchmaker at considerable cost and is running well and keeping decent time. The stop/start chronograph hand is set in motion by pressing the button in the top of the winding crown which works perfectly and resets back to bang on 12 o’clock. All functions are operational. THIS IS A FABULOUS. There is NO exception. I have described all of my items to the best of my knowledge. You may only return an item if there was a mistake made by me in the description of the item that I have overlooked. You thought it was etc… Please do not waste anyone’s time if you are not interested. Omega / Kirby Beard & Co. 58 mm, 153 g, circa 1900. Rare double-sided pocket watch with chronograph and polychrome S. Dial and tachy scale. Tachymeter Dial with double signature of Omega and retailer Kirby Beard in Paris. Front: enamel, Arabic numerals, 15 min. Counter, concentric tachy scale, spade hands. Back: outer tachy scale and 15 min. Counter, skeletonized centre, blued single spade hand. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, very finely ground chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device. The tachymeter dial allows the measuring of any speed between 10.5 and 140 miles per hour without the help of calculations. 15-minute counters starting with 5 individual minute segments in different colours to indicate which colour will show the speed on the spiral tachymeterscale. This watch is prized for reliability, convenience in use, and meets relatively seldom. This beautiful mechanical pocket watch has absolutely original high grade, gold-filled movement. In an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. Smooth and strong running of the balance. Movement has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time! The watch has incredible beautiful massive Solid Silver 0.800 case. The case is in very well preserved cosmetic condition, no signs of any serious damages! The case has crown for winding at 12 o’clock position and button for setting the desire time at 1 o’clock position. The watch comes with brand new mineral dome glass. Measures : case – 53 mm. In Diameter (excluding the crown) , thickness – 12 mm. See photos for more details!! This is a NAIL SET watch so you dont pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button below the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once youre finished. Its easy, so dont worry about getting the hang of it! This amazing timepiece has gorgeous white, porcelain, enamel dial. In excellent cosmetic condition. Only has one scratch around 8 o’clock position. The dial has black Roman numerals.
