Superb little Georgian solid silver keepsake locket pendant with gilt interior, the exterior would have originally been gold plated but this has worn away over the passage of time leaving a slight gold hue, the locket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1831 and bears the makers mark of renowned silversmith Joseph Willmore, in good condition for age with one minor ding to front, no damage or repairs, slight play to hinge but works fine, beautiful design on front and rear, locket measures 35mm including suspension ring x 24mm wide, weighs 8.3 grams.
