6 Vintage “Towle” Sterling Silver “Louis XIV” Pattern Bullion Spoons – Pattern introduced in 1924 – Very handsome – They each remain in very nice condition with light scratches – They measure 4 7/8 inches long – The total weight is 4.1 troy ounces.

Presented is a set of 4 sterling silver small round bullion soup spoons from Whiting Manufacturing Co. This set is in classic Louis XV pattern, which was patented in 1891 and displays an elegant scroll boarder on both sides of the handle. Each spoon is monogrammed “L” or perhaps E in an Old English script. The reverse of each piece is marked sterling along with the maker’s mark for Whiting and the patent date of 1891.
