Presented is a set of 4 sterling silver small round bullion soup spoons from Whiting Manufacturing Co. This set is in classic Louis XV pattern, which was patented in 1891 and displays an elegant scroll boarder on both sides of the handle. Each spoon is monogrammed “L” or perhaps E in an Old English script. The reverse of each piece is marked sterling along with the maker’s mark for Whiting and the patent date of 1891.
