It features a pretty garland of leaves and flowers design on the front, with an empty cartouche in the centre for the engraving of initials. There’s a large bale at the top and inside, there’s room for 2 photos behind the original little removable frames. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 4.4cm high and 3.5cm wide. With the bale, it’s total length is 5.9cm. It weighs 16.1 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Has a few very minor dinks to the back. The hinge and closure work well – it snaps closed and stays shut firmly.
