Beautiful Vintage Quality Solid Silver & Diamond Paste Brooch. Here is a really beautiful vintage solid silver & diamond paste brooch. The brooch is large measures two inches by two & a quarter inches & is all made of solid silver. This brooch is really beautiful in a large garland ribbon type style in thick silver the brooch is inset with white faceted paste stones to look like diamonds which give a absolutely sparkling dazzling effect. On the back is a pin & rolling Cclasp working well & the brooch has a full set of hallmarks & makers mark which is rubbed so hard for me to read, but dates to around the 1940-60s. However this really is such a lovely piece of quality vintage jewellery in excellant origional complete condition that looks stunning worn & quite a statement piece & a really beautiful example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Here I have an antique solid silver Victorian locket pendant. It features a lovely ornate hand-engraved floral design on a raised central panel, with tiers of wirework and chased linear designs below and beaded detailing around the edge. I nside, there’s room for 2 pictures – it still contains the original little frame to hold the photo in place in one side; the other side contains a past owner’s picture… There’s no frame on this side but if you cut the pic to the right size, it will stay put perfectly. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top or the beading around the edge) measures 3.7cm high and 3.0cm wide. It weighs 11.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Hinge and closure work perfectly and it snaps shut nicely. There are a few minor dinks here and there but they’re mostly to the back, and a few of the beads around the edge are slightly dinked. International buyers PLEASE READ. Here I have a fine example of an antique Austro-Hungarian solid silver locket pendant. It’s double sided, what’s known as a day and night locket, as you could turn it round for a different look in the evening. The front is set with Persian turquoise cabochons in a diamond shaped design, with freshwater pearls in the centre and little flower shapes to the outside. The other side is set with flat-cut garnets and pearls, with further silver flowers between. The bale also features turquoise and pearls and it can turned so it sits at the front for both sides of the locket. Inside, the locket is gilded and there’s room for 2 pictures, behind the original glass slip covers and removable silver frames. It’s marked with Austro-Hungarian hallmark and maker’s stamp on the ring holding the bale. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 3.2cm long. With the bale at the top, it’s total length is 4.3cm. It weighs 19.7 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. The hinge and closure work perfectly and it snaps shut nicely.
