Stunning Victorian Large Solid Silver & Scottish Agate Brooch. Here is the most beautiful victorian large solid silver & scottish agate brooch. The brooch measures two inches by just over two & a half inches & is all set in solid silver, although not marked where i can see, tested & guarranteed victorian silver. This brooch is absolutely fabulous & i have never seen a example like this before with a rusched setting with quality shell like engraved claws & inset is a fabulous piece of polished cabouchon scottish agate or aberdeen granite with the most beautiful pink colour & natural markings. On the back is a pin & Cclasp working well & dates to around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height. This really is such a beautiful quality victorian agate brooch in very good origional complete condition that truly is a beautiful example of this work. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
