Here I have an antique solid silver slide pendant, set with a row of natural turquoise gemstones around the outside and white seed pearls below. It’s designed to be worn on a choker length ribbon – the ribbon which is included is modern but fits the pendant nicely. Originally it would have been on a moire ribbon but alas, these tend not stand up to the tests of time as well as the pendants! Dates from the Georgian/early Victorian period. Unmarked but tests as solid silver. Pendant measures 3.6cm x 2.6cm. I’ve left the ribbon long (50) so it can easily be tied in a bow at the back of your neck, however, you could of course trim it to any length. The pendant weighs 8.0 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No damage – all stones and pearls are original and in lovely condition. Just the usual light marks to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. Antique VICTORIAN Solid SILVER Mourning LOCKET Brooch Prince of Wales Hair Curl. A visually stunning, rare, 19th century solid silver mourning locket brooch. The silver is unmarked as was often the case during the period; however it has been professionally jeweller tested. As a long time collector of period mourning jewellery, I had never seen a brooch like this before. It has been exquisitely made by a skilled Victorian silversmith, showing all the’pomp and circumstance’ of an important mourning piece. One is sufficiently impressed with the hugely elaborate front decor; it is then even more captivating to see the mourning locket back. Laid on a ribbed cream silk interior is a beautifully set Prince of Wales hair curl, complete with seed pearls and gold wiring. All immaculate with original glass. The silver tube hinge, pin and’c’ catch are all original and in good working order. Measurements: 1.9″ by 1.5″. In good antique condition; please see all photographs (which can be supersized). The dial has a hairline as shown. The front cover opens a little past 90 degrees. This a great piece of history. Comes with a Key. The dust cover has an extra hole and probably is not the original case also someone put some dings in the edge of the the watch center probably to get the back cover to stay closed. Other wise the case is amazing. This movement could probably use a cleaning but still has a nice luster. Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver book chain / collar. It features sturdy belcher links and it fastens with a dog clip – the clip is not original but works well with the necklace. The ring next to the dog clip has the lion passant hallmark for sterling silver and the clip itself has a maker’s mark stamp, the chain itself does not have a hallmark but is guaranteed solid silver. I have many wonderful Victorian period lockets in my shop which would look fabulous with this book chain! The chain wears at 18.75 inches long including the clasp. The chain is 8mm wide across the front. It weighs 27.8 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. I think the chain may at one point have been gilded, there are some slight traces left in the grooves of each link, but most of it has worn away. There’s a tiny bit of wear to the final link of the chain, where attaches to the ring of the dog clip, but this is quite minor (2nd to last photo). Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. American Tremont Boston Solid Silver Keywind Pocket Watch, 1860′s. In good running condition! Movement is marked Tremont Watch co. This dates it to about 1866. Its a Keywind, Keyset watch with 11 to 15 jewels. The Solid Keystone Leader Coin Silver Case case is in decent/good condition with some wear. A few small dings/scratches on back cover. 4oz Silver marking inside dust cover. Circle diameter at 2 1/8. To set watch, must pop open front bezel at 1pm and turn hand centerpost with key. Watch includes key as seen in pic. Watch has been serviced recently, and is keeping good time. Great watch to carry or for collection!
