Complete Set of’Peter Scott’s’ British Birds by John Pinches. 35 Solid Silver Medallions each depicting Fine Art Work of each individual Bird with accompanying information leaflet. Each Medallion is Fully Hallmarked: Passant Lion + Leopard Head (London) date letter’t’ 1974 Maker: JP- John Pinches. Each Medallion measures 51mm in diameter. Each Medallion Weighs 66.30g / 2.33oz – there are 5 in each slide (7 slides in total). Total of 35 Medallions Total Silver weight 2320.50gms / 81.55 ounces. All Silver Medallions are in Excellent Condition each being protected in its own capsule within the slide all kept. Within a purpose made Teak Wooden lidded Box. One Plastic Capsule is cracked on the back (2nd to last pic) this holds the’Snipe’ Bird which is not affected by this & has been used in the photos for measurement, weight etc. Some light wear to the box mainly corners but No cracks or splits and Lid fits nicely. All information leaflets for each bird included but 3 have gone amiss. These are hard to come by’Complete’ and are a Limited Edition of 2000 Worldwide.
