I loved learning about this company, which traces its root back to 1856 with the opening of a retail store by Henry T. Brown, Gorham Thurber and John Gorham, serving as an outlet for Gorham Manufacturing CO’s silver and other luxury goods. The company later became Tilden, Thurber & Co in 1880.
