SWISS MADE’UP/DOWN’ 2 REGISTER RATTRAPANT CHRONOGRAPH STOP/POCKET WATCH. This is a BEAUTIFUL solid sterling silver watch case. The case measures 5. The case back has no engravings. The case back shows quite a lot of small. Couple of small dings. Through normal age related wear. Is in good condition. Pair of small owners initials lightly scratched into it E. The case sides are good and the bezel is good with a couple of dings. The covers snap’to’ as they should. The chain ring is original and is marked for solid silver. The inside of the case is fully hall marked with. The Assay mark is for London and the date mark is 1913. This is a very nice unsigned brilliant white dial. Both up/down registers are in very good order. All of the hands are present and are in great condition. The dial has black ROMAN numerals which are in mint condition with a black outer minute track. The crystal is made from GLASS and could be the original. As such it shows light wear. This lovely watch is fitted with an absolute. Beautiful FULLY OMEGA SIGNED. Swiss jeweled chronograph movment. The movement winds and sets smoothly. BUT THE CROWN MUST BE PUSHED AWAY FROM THE CASE WHEN WINDING due to age related wear and tear. The movement is numbered 401xxxxx dating it to 1913 and in keeping with the silver hallmarks meaning that this movement and case are matched. Has just been FULLY SERVICED by my watchmaker at considerable cost and is running well and keeping decent time. The stop/start chronograph hand is set in motion by pressing the button in the top of the winding crown which works perfectly and resets back to bang on 12 o’clock. All functions are operational. THIS IS A FABULOUS. There is NO exception. I have described all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
