Here I have an antique solid silver locket pendant. It features a very ornate hand-engraved ivy leaf pattern on the front. In Victorian symbolism, ivy represented a strong bond between 2 people, whether they were married partners or best friends. On the back is a nicely engraved set of monogrammed initials. Inside , it contains the original glass and frame in one side, and just the frame in the other. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 5.1cm high and 4.0cm wide. Weighs 23.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. The hinge and closure work well and it snaps shut nicely. Overall, it just has the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. Here I have an antique solid silver locket pendant. It features a very ornate hand-engraved ivy leaf pattern on the front. Inside , it contains a photograph in the right hand side, behind it’s original frame. In the left, behind the original glass and frame is a braided piece of hair. Of course, you could remove these. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 5.3cm high and 4.2cm wide. Weighs 30.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Has a couple of small dinks, one on the front which is hidden by the engraving and another on the back. The hinge and closure work well and it snaps shut nicely. Overall, it just has the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. THIS IS A FANTASTIC VERY LARGE PAIR OF ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS. THE SET WAS PRESENTED AS A GIFT ON APRIL 15TH 1903 AND THEY ARE ENGRAVED ON THE BOTTOM. THEY WERE MADE IN THE LATE 1800′S BY F. THE CANDLESTICKS WEIGH 18.98 TROY OZ. & 19.08 TROY OZ. TOGETHER THE TOTAL WEIGHT IS 38.06 TROY OZ. THEY ARE NOT WEIGHTED. BOTH OF THE CANDLESTICKS ARE MONOGRAMMED AND MATCHING. THEY HAVE GORGEOUS REPOUSSE EMBOSSED VICTORIAN SCROLLING. BOTH CANDLESTICKS STAND STRAIGHT AND LEVEL. Here I have an antique French solid silver locket pendant. It’s decorated on the front and back with different beautiful floral Art Nouveau designs; with an empty cartouche for the engraving of initials on the front. The doors slide open and inside each door, there’s a bevelled mirror held in place by little removable silver frames. It’s lost its original bale but there’s a hole in the centre of the hinge which could be used to thread a chain or cord. It’s stamped with the French boar’s head silver hallmark on the hinge. The main body of the locket (without the hinge at the top) measures 5.7cm high and 4.3cm wide. With the hinge, it’s total length is 6.8cm. It weighs 36.6 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No dinks or pressure marks. Just has the usual very light surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item and one of the mirrors has a chip to one edge. The hinge works well and it closes nicely. This is a beautiful looking HUGE size largest one we have had in quite sometime! C1860/70s Solid Silver (fully tested not marked). Armorial Family Crest / Scottish Clan Brooch. The outer rim has the Motto Ung Dieu Ung Roy (One God One King) and the inner section reads Virtutis Amore Hold Fast. And the detail is quite simply outstanding! It is in excellent condition just being in need of a light clean as it has slightly tarnished with age. It measures 57mm / 2ΒΌ inches in diameter and weighs 35.4grams well over 1 troy ounce.
