International Watch Co Schaffhausen Solid Silver cal 52 IWC pocket watch pocketwatch from 1923. IWC Schaffhausen Solid Silver Pocket watch from 1907. This is a genuine, solid silver International Watch Co. 52 pocket watch from 1907 in mint condition. The original enamel dial is in mint condition, the original Louis XV-style hands look very nice on the dial. Original case and dust cap have been made of solid 0.800 silver, case diameter is 50 mm not counting the original crown. Case is in mint condition. Original lépine IWC 52 – 19lig. H 6 1/2 has been cleaned, is running perfectly and keeps excellent time. Movement has Breguet overcoil hairspring, bimetallic balance, swan’s neck regulator and 15 jewels. This pocket watch has crown-wind, pin-set movement: a small pin next to the watch-stem at 11 o’clock had to be depressed before turning the crown to set the time and releasing the pin when the correct time had been set. I understand my customer’s needs, and provide vintage watches that meet or exceed their expectations. My watches are in all original, factory condition. As far as the strap and buckle are concerned, please see description. I do not deal in marriage watches. I do not deal in watches with refinished, repainted dials. From a vintage collectors point of view, a refinished dial diminishes the value of a watch. Many refinished dials don’t last as long and are not as durable as original dials. Here I have a stunning antique solid silver mirrored compact / locket pendant. The colour hasn’t come out well in the photos but the background is a pale mint green guilloche enamel, with handpainted pink roses in the centre. The lid hinges up and the inside has been gilded, with a mirror within the lid. It’s stamped as silver on the ring at the top – the silver standard number is tricky to make out, possibly 935? The main body of the locket (without the ring at the top) measures 3.8cm wide and 1.0cm deep. I t weighs 18.6 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. There are 2 chips to the top layer of clear enamel which are very tricky to capture in the photos but I’ve circled them in pink — they’re only noticeable if you run your finger over them, they’re near impossible to see unless you’re looking extremely closely! The chip on the lid is approx 8mm long and 1.5mm wide and on the base it’s 7mm long by 3.5mm wide. Both are superficial and don’t go down to the coloured enamel below. Aside from this, there’s no other scratching or damage. The hinge and closure work perfectly and it clicks shut nicely. International buyers PLEASE READ. Here I have an antique solid silver locket pendant. It features a very ornate hand-engraved ivy leaf pattern on the front. In Victorian symbolism, ivy represented a strong bond between 2 people, whether they were married partners or best friends. Inside , it contains a photograph in the right hand side, behind it’s original frame. In the left, behind the original glass and frame is a braided piece of hair. Of course, you could remove these. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 5.3cm high and 4.2cm wide. Weighs 30.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Has a couple of small dinks, one on the front which is hidden by the engraving and another on the back. The hinge and closure work well and it snaps shut nicely. Overall, it just has the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
