Beautiful Victorian Solid Silver & Scottish Agate Specimen Brooch, 1880s. Here is a really lovely victorian solid silver & scottish agate specimen brooch. The brooch measures two inches in diameter and is all set in victorian solid silver, not marked but tested & guarranteed. The brooch is a fabulous scottish specimen brooch and is roundel in style inset with all different kinds of scottish agate, pebble, granite etc in sections, flat cut with there lovely colours & natural markings, bandings with some unusual agates i have not seen before or the markings. Nicely this brooch has a silver rusched edge and silver engraved centre and on the back its backed & has its pin & Cclasp working well. This brooch dates to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height of popularity and some fabulous pieces were made & yet again i have never seen one exactly the same as this one before, so a interesting example and as with age it may have the odd minute nibble, which you would expect with age & wear, but nothing that i can see or detracts, & the back does have some bits out of it, but just mentioned for total accuracy, but certainly nothing that detracts, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian brooch in good origional complete condition and such a lovely rare collectable example of these.. Please note the marks on the agates are natural. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Beautiful Vintage Quality Solid Silver & Diamond Paste Brooch. Here is a really beautiful vintage solid silver & diamond paste brooch. The brooch is large measures two inches by two & a quarter inches & is all made of solid silver. This brooch is really beautiful in a large garland ribbon type style in thick silver the brooch is inset with white faceted paste stones to look like diamonds which give a absolutely sparkling dazzling effect. On the back is a pin & rolling Cclasp working well & the brooch has a full set of hallmarks & makers mark which is rubbed so hard for me to read, but dates to around the 1940-60s. However this really is such a lovely piece of quality vintage jewellery in excellant origional complete condition that looks stunning worn & quite a statement piece & a really beautiful example of these. Beautiful Victorian Rare Solid Silver & Scottish Agate Specimen Brooch, 1880s. Here is a really lovely victorian solid silver & scottish agate specimen brooch. The brooch measures nearly two & a quarter inches in diameter and is all set in victorian solid silver, not marked but tested & guarranteed. The brooch is a fabulous scottish specimen brooch and in a rusched roundel type style with a unusual entwined cut to the agates inset with all different kinds of scottish agate, pebble, granite etc in sections, flat cut with there lovely colours & natural markings, bandings with some unusual agates i have not seen before or the markings. Nicely this brooch has a silver engraved centre and on the back its solid silver backed & it will need its pin & Cclasp replacing to wear it again as a brooch as it has a bail & looks to have been worn as a pendant. Beautiful Vintage Quality Solid Silver Engraved Buckle Bangle, Chester, 1940. Here is a really beautiful vintage quality solid silver buckle bangle. The bangle measures just over two inches by two & a half inches with a depth of threequarters of an inch with the buckle part having a depth of just over one inch & all made of solid silver. This bangle is such quality & one of the best buckle bangles i have ever seen. The bangle has a plain back & then the front looks like a belt buckle & is beautifully engraved in really good detail & it has a unusual clasp that opens on the buckle, which opens on a hinge all working very well & it is not adjustable this is the size of it. Inside it has a full set of english hallmarks for Chester, silver & 1940 & makers mark of S&E & the buckle also has the lion mark & it also says To olga, from john, 5-11-40 & obviously this has been quite treasured, but has been worn, so with age & wear there is some marks & slight dents as you would associate with wear, but certainly nothing that i can see that detracts in any way, see pics. However this really is a beautiful vintage buckle bangle in very good origional complete condition & a really fabulous chester example & a real quality example of these. The pendant is so pretty & then inset with real rock crystal with its faceted & a pear shaped drop, which gives off the fabulous pools of light. The pendant comes complete with a good size bail & dates clearly to the edwardian era. Beautiful Art Deco Quality Solid Silver, Amethyst & Marcasite Necklace. Here is a really lovely art deco quality solid silver, amethyst & marcasite necklace. The necklace measures sixteen & a half inches all the way round & is all made of solid silver. This necklace is really lovely & totally epotomises the era with its fabulous quality design. The necklace has a silver rope style chain around to lovely drops of four solid silver drops which have the lovely shaped art deco design which is rounded engraved and then inset with sparkling marcasites. It then has three drops which measure half an inch by just over half of an inch & again set in solid silver, oval shaped with a border of sparkling marcasites & then inset with faceted amethysts which are securely collet set & the amethysts are a lovely lavender in colour & open backed to appreciate the gemstones. The necklace has a large bolt ring clasp working well & has the early silver mark which is marked in numerous places & this necklace dates to the 1930-50s & as with age there is a couple of marcasites missing which certainly doesnt detract, as they cant be seen as this necklace has so much going on & i only noticed under a strong loupe, but just mentioned for total accuracy & could very easily be replaced if necessary, see pics. However this really is a fabulous art deco necklace that looks such fine quality worn & as wearable today as when first made & such a lovely piece of art deco jewellery.
