A substantial antique 19th century Victorian sterling silver buckle bangle, with ornate and extremely high quality hand chased floral detail to the front with ball detail to the edge of the buckle. The bangle catch opens easily, and closes firmly with a satisfying snap. The hinge is strong. There are no hallmarks on the piece, which is not unusual for such an item, but it tests as silver. Cm or 7 inches. Internal Width: 5.5. Cm or 2 1/8 inches. External Width: 6.3. Cm or 2 1/2 inches. Width of cuff: 3.3. Cm or 1 1/4 inches. Weight: 45.8 grams, 1.472 ozt.
