Unusual ART DECO Solid SIlver & ROCK CRYSTAL Sphere Ball Orb PENDANT & 24 Chain

Here I have a fantastic Art Deco solid silver and genuine Rock Crystal pendant. The sphere of Rock Crystal is held within a cage of silver which encases from one tipped point to the other about 2/3s of the stone; the stone twists around but I think you’d have to work hard to get it to pop out! As with all true Rock Crystal orbs, it flips and magnifies text when you read through it. There’s a good size bale at the top and it hangs on a more recent 22 sterling rope chain. The pendant is unmarked but tests as solid silver. The chain is marked STERLING by the clasp. The stone measures 2.0cm wide. With the bale at the top, it’s total length is 3.5cm. It weighs 21.2 grams with the chain. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Just the usual light marks to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. Antique Aei Love Token Solid Silver Locket And Silver 24 Inch Chain

This delightful locket dates from around 1880 and is sterling silver, unmarked but tests fine. The chain is 24 inches, sterling silver too and the catch is strong the chain dates to around the 1930′s. The locket is in good condition and it closes tightly. It measures 3.1cm (1 1/4 inch) across by 4.2cm (just over 1 1/2 inch) down not including the bail and together with the chain weighs 27.5g. The locket has raised letters AEI on the front, this stands for Affinity, Eternity, and Infinity. This was a popular type of love token among the Victorians. Antique Victorian SOLID SILVER Belcher Collar BOOK CHAIN Necklace with Dog Clip

Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver book chain / collar. It features sturdy belcher links and it fastens with a dog clip – the clip is not original but works well with the necklace. The ring next to the dog clip has the lion passant hallmark for sterling silver and the clip itself has a maker’s mark stamp, the chain itself does not have a hallmark but is guaranteed solid silver. I have many wonderful Victorian period lockets in my shop which would look fabulous with this book chain! The chain wears at 18.75 inches long including the clasp. The chain is 8mm wide across the front. It weighs 27.8 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. I think the chain may at one point have been gilded, there are some slight traces left in the grooves of each link, but most of it has worn away. There’s a tiny bit of wear to the final link of the chain, where attaches to the ring of the dog clip, but this is quite minor (2nd to last photo). Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. A very nice antique silver muff chain. Containing 21 coins and tokens from around the world, 14 of which are engraved love tokens I have photographed a few of these individually. Chain and clasp stamped for 800 grade silver, coins are of various silver grades. Good condition, one of the most interesting and finest examples of a muff chain I have come across. Circa 1915 but could be of an older date, with coins added through out. The most modern coin dates to 1912 the oldest being a Kind George the IV shilling Circa 1825. Weight: 101.5 g.
