Genuine Swiss made Movado ERMETO Chronometre pocket watch and solid silver chain with tassel fob. The watch has a full set of 1930. 925 silver hallmarks and has a hardened chestnut brown leather outer case with an aged patina. The case slides open to reveal the watch face. The opening and closing of the case also serves as to wind the watch. The watch is working and keeping good time. As the service history of the watch is unknown, a service by the new owner should be considered, however the watch has been keeping good time for over a week whilst in my care… Measurements: 50 x 35mm (closed). 74 x 35mm (open). The chain and tassel measure 12.2 inches from end to end including clasp and fob and 10.9 inches without the tassel. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with the lion passant for English sterling silver. The T bar and clasp are fully hallmarked with the lion passant, makers mark – W. S and the date letter’Z’ for the year 1899. All in very good condition. A beautiful and unusual pocket watch and chain combination. For more items of quality and distinction, see my other listings.
