A stunning piece of Arts & Crafts Jewellery; this Sterlign Silver Brooch was made by Charles Horner. In the form of a curled Fish/Dolphin around a Mother of pearl’Bubble’. This Brooch is likely to have been designed by the Arts & Crafts Jeweller Edgar Simpson, who worked for Charles Horner and is well known for designs which include Fish. The Brooch measures 3cm long. The Brooch is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. You can see the CH maker’s mark on the back, and there is a Hallmark but it has been obscured by the pin fitting. The date would be c. 1910; see the book’Charles Horner of Halifax’ by Tom J. 57 for an example and details of this piece. UK buyers can also pay by Cheque or Postal order. Once I know you’ve got it and are happy, I will leave feedback. PLEASE NOTE that my Items are mostly Vintage and Second Hand, and whilst I try to be as accurate as possible in my Condition descriptions, Vintage items by nature will show some signs of age, perfection cannot be expected.
