Beautiful shaped engraved and bead work necklace with a lovely oval silver locket with fancy script initials on the front and the date 1880 inscribed on the back, the locket opens to fit photographs or keepsakes. The locket is attached to the necklace by a large bolt ring fastener so the chain can be worn with or without the locket. The chain measures 15.54mm in width and is 19 (482.60mm) in length, the locket measures 53mm inc. Combined weight 49.30 grams. This is a very interesting well designed pendant. It is very old, nice, thick and solid. It has at the back B. M TRV-RON ECC: CATH. What appears as TRV might actually be TRU because they used to write U as V in the olden days. ECC: CATH probably stands for Ecclesia Catholica. BVM might stand for Blessed Virgin Mary if the letter is V and not U. Every other thing on the pendant is a mystery. What is not in doubt is the quality of the pendant, and the fact that there is not many of it around. It comes with a long silver necklace. The pendant itself might be an old silver item. I tested it with my very strong big magnet and it shows no reaction. I don’t think the necklace is as old as the pendant, but it complements it very well. The necklace is long, long enough for both men and women. You won’t get this pendant anywhere else at this ridiculous price. I have a lot of exclusive old items. I actually inherited this one, so I have some emotional attachment to it. It is all about finding the person who will appreciate its true value and even make a profit out of it in future. It measures 42 x 2 cms or 16 1/2 x 3/4 total weight 120 gms approx. Please do not ask for other cheaper methods as refusal often offends. Here I have a stunning antique 800 grade silver Austro Hungarian bracelet. It features alternating domed links with stylised flower detailing and banded scroll connecting links between. It’s decorated in red, blue and lime green enamel and it fastens with a concealed push-in clasp. It has an Austro-Hungarian dog’s head hallmark on the tongue of the clasp, with the city letter for Vienna, and the maker’s initials A. It looks like it was once gilded, there are little hints of gold in places still, but the majority has worn away over the years. Wears at 7.25 inches in length and it measures 1.3cm across the front. It weighs 33.8 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. The enamel is in excellent order; the lime green in the centre of the flowers has the odd fleabite here and there but other than that it’s in fantastic condition. The clasp snaps closed nicely and stays shut. Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
