Beautiful LARGE Victorian SOLID Silver Keepsake LOCKET with HAIR Pendant & Chain. WELCOME TO CLASSIQUE JEWELLERY! You are previewing a wonderfully simple, yet still beautiful, solid silver locket from the late 19th Century, c. There are no Hallmarks or stamps that I can find but it has been fully and independently tested to Sterling purity solid silver. It is a large PLAIN locket, polished to both sides, having no decoration. It measures 3.6 cms, 4.8 cms including the bale, by 2.9 cms. It weighs a HEAVY and substantial 13.31 grams, 17.9 grams including the chain. This beauty opens to reveal its real treasure, an all original interior with fittings and glass panels housing sections or woven hair, gold braid and seed pearls. This is almost certainly a LOVE locket and not a memorial piece, to my mind. Of course, this can be used to house keepsakes, photographs, portraits or whatever of your own choosing. It is fitted on a vintage, but much later, Sterling silver chain of inches length that compliments this fine locket well. It is in a good condition, considering that it probably around 140 years old. The hinge and clasp are secure and solid and the interior glass and fittings are all original. There are a couple of pimples that serve to enhance its charm and authenticity in my opinion, rather than detract from what is a wonderful yet simple locket of quality. Dont let it get away! Here I have a fantastic vintage solid silver brooch, in the form of a lizard. He fastens with a rollover clasp on the back and is signed “Pineda’s Taxco TP-17 Mexico 970″. It was made by Maria Pineda, a talented silversmith who worked for. Hector Aguilar, Antonio Pineda, and later Margot de Taxco. Measures 8.2cm across at the widest point. It weighs 11.2 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. He’s lost a toe from a back foot, but otherwise he’s in very good order with just the usual light surface marks and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item. International buyers PLEASE READ. ANTIQUE LARGE SOLID SILVER AUSTRO HUNGARIAN GARNET TURQUOISE BROOCH. A stunning very large antique Victorian Austro Hungarian garnet and turquoise brooch. In very good antique condition, please see the pictures. It measures 2″ by 2″(5cm by 5cm). There is a wonderful large faceted central garnet surrounded by further garnets and natural turquoise. The brooch has a good secure pin, with a roll over clasp. I think the clasp is a replacement but the pin is original. The silver is not marked, as was common during the period, but has been tested. Its a Keywind, Keyset model 1857 watch with 7jewels. The Solid Silver case is in decent condition with wear. It is marked Baystate Coin. Nice original porcelain dial. Circle diameter at 2 1/8. STUNNING ANTIQUE SILVER ALBERTINA. Stunning antique solid silver albertina watch chain. Lovely & very ornate example of a Victorian albertina. Often referred to as’sunday best watch chains’ this type of chain first appeared in the 1890′s & where worn mostly by ladies as an alternative to a guard chain to wear a fob watch. This example is in beautiful condition, with 5 graduated chains joined to a beautifully engraved central panel leading to side section hung with an ornate silver tassel. The engraving on the central panel is very fine & crisp also with engraving to the edge. One ball on the tassel may be a replacement as is slightly larger than the rest. No markings that I can find so has been acid tested for silver. Could be worn as a bracelet or added too to wear as necklace. Or just to have as an excellent example. Vintage Art Nouveau c1910 Large Solid Silver Dragonfly Brooch Morpho Butterfly Wing A stunning sterling silver and butterfly wing dragonfly brooch in the style of a Thomas L Mott Most (there is no TLM mark but it certainly looks like his work), made between 1900 and 1910. The large wings are inlaid with butterfly wing topped with a lovely, cabochon rock crystal.
