Outstanding Antique Norway Large Solid Silver Detailed Engraved Brooch, 830s. Here is the most fabulous large antique norway solid silver engraved brooch. This brooch is large measuring two & a quarter inches in diameter & all made of solid silver. This brooch is truly outstanding & one of a kind which i have never seen one like this before. It has a rusched border with typical early engravings in a matt silver & then raised sections with very pretty fine filigree work in really lovely detail. The brooch has a early pin & Cclasp working well & looks to date around the art deco era & is clearly marked 830s for solid silver & is norwegian in origin but unfortunately i cannot see a makers mark. This really is a fabulous early brooch in excellant origional complete condition & most certainly one for the serious collector & a rare example. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Exceptional Victorian Large Solid Silver & Scottish Agate Sword Brooch, 1880s. Here is a really exceptional victorian large solid silver & scottish agate sword brooch. The brooch measures threequarters of an inch to four inches long and is all set in victorian solid silver, not marked but tested & guarranteed. The brooch is a fabulous rare scottish brooch that depicts a early sword in fabulous detail, with lovely early chasings in beautiful detail & then is nicely inset, with scottish agate, of bloodstone, carnelian or jasper or similiar agates with there lovely colours & natural markings, cabouchon & securely inset. This brooch has a pin & Cclasp working well & dates clearly to the victorian period around the 1860-80s when scottish jewellery was at its height of popularity and some fabulous pieces were made & i have never seen one exactly the same as this one before or of this size , so a interesting example and as with age it may have the odd minute nibble, which you would expect with age & wear, but nothing that i can see or detracts, see pics. This really is a fabulous victorian brooch in very good origional complete condition and such a lovely collectable rare exceptional example of these. Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver locket pendant. It features a pretty garland of leaves and flowers design on the front, with an empty cartouche in the centre for the engraving of initials. There’s a large bale at the top and inside, there’s room for 2 photos behind the original little removable frames. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 4.4cm high and 3.5cm wide. With the bale, it’s total length is 5.9cm. It weighs 16.1 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Has a few very minor dinks to the back. The hinge and closure work well – it snaps closed and stays shut firmly. Overall, it just has the usual surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
