Real LARIMAR Stone 12mm Bead Solid Sterling Silver Antique Clasp 20.25 NECKLACE. Stamped STG SILVER to the back of the clasp. 83.40 grams on jewellery scales. Strung on silk, all of the larimar beads are 12mm large, beautifully polished and all unique in tone and marbling. The full string of 12mm beads are spaced with small faceted clear crystals and complete with an antique sterling silver marcasite stone set clasp with additional sterling silver safety chain. The stones are beautiful, a gorgeous tone of pale blue to aquamarine with natural marbling. Unclasped the necklace measures 20.25. Inches end to end or circumference. It also weighs 83.40 grams on jewellery scales, looks really gorgeous on, this is hand made and unique, the only one like it on the internet. Very rare beads and beautifully crafted. Larimar, also called “Stefilia’s Stone”, is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. Its coloration varies from white, light-blue, green-blue to deep blue. Box not included in sale. Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver book chain / collar. It features sturdy belcher links and it fastens with a dog clip – the clip is not original but works well with the necklace. The ring next to the dog clip has the lion passant hallmark for sterling silver and the clip itself has a maker’s mark stamp, the chain itself does not have a hallmark but is guaranteed solid silver. I have many wonderful Victorian period lockets in my shop which would look fabulous with this book chain! The chain wears at 18.75 inches long including the clasp. The chain is 8mm wide across the front. It weighs 27.8 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. I think the chain may at one point have been gilded, there are some slight traces left in the grooves of each link, but most of it has worn away. There’s a tiny bit of wear to the final link of the chain, where attaches to the ring of the dog clip, but this is quite minor (2nd to last photo). Overall, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. Stunning Victorian Albert Watch chain. Solid silver (not hallmarked but tested). With tassel, T-bar and dog clip as well as two silver coins and intricate orb shaped link. In excellent antique condition apart from the tassel missing one of its tiny ends and a few of the links being not quite perfect. The chain looks great when worn as a necklace. Here I have an antique Victorian solid silver book chain / collar necklace. It features raised round links with beaded detail in the centre, and flat pierced connecting links between them. It fastens with an oversized bolt ring which could be used to hang a locket, or it can be worn alone as a striking necklace. Unmarked but guaranteed solid silver. I have lots of wonderful Victorian period lockets in my shop which would look fabulous with this book chain! The chain wears at 18 inches long including the clasp. The chain is 8mm wide across the front. It weighs 16.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. One of the little silver beads is missing but it’s not really noticeable and could easily be replaced by jeweller. The chain is 16mm wide across the front from the top of the links to the bottom of the engraved discs. It weighs 22.9 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. One of the little star discs is missing and a few others show slight wear, commensurate with its age. Overall, it just has the minor signs of wear which you’d expect on an antique item. Absolutely stunning Edwardian/Art Deco lavaliere necklace. Moonstones set into a Sterling silver mount. Faintly marked’Sterling’ on the clasp. One tiny flaw to the back of one of the stones and one replacement link in the chain, hardly worthy of note. Overall the necklace is in good antique condition. Here I have an antique solid silver collar necklace. It features little oval discs, all the way around which have a floral design, each is stamped as silver on the back. It fastens with a dog clip clasp. Measures 15.5 inches long including the clasp. The discs are 1.8cm long. It weighs a hefty 54.6 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. I suspect the dog clip is a later replacement and it would have originally have had a oversized bolt ring fastening, but the dog clip still works well.
