Oversized Solid-Silver Pocket Watch. With Norwegian Coat of Arms. Remarkable oversized antique solid-silver pocket watch made in Switzerland for the Norwegian market. The watch is a really attractive piece for its big size (62 mm width) and its lovely design. It mounts a front glass cap that protects the white dial, in perfect condition and with no hairlines or dents. The dial bears black Arab numbers and lovely golden-metal Louis XV hands. It also bears the printed inscription Anti Magnetique. The silver rear cap is decorated with a fine coat of arms containing a rampant lion, engraved by hand by a skilful artist. The rear cap is made of silver too and bears an engraved inscription indicating that the movement contains 15 jewels. Engraved inside these two caps we can see the hallmarks, the silver proportion and the serial number 177 94085.
