W and fine silver. Doors of the watch open and close without any problem, there is faint hairline between 10 & 11 which is unnoticeable please see pictures, glass got some scratches and unnoticeable tiny nick at the corner, which is not effecting watch in anyway, please see last second picture below. Watch is in working condition & keeping good time but please do not expect quartz accuracy with an antique watch, if it goes a minute fast or slow it can be regulate through regulator. There is no key with the watch if I get one I will update in the description. For measurements please see pictures below. Each ingot weighs an ounce and is hallmarked for BM Birmingham 1977. The liners are: savannah 1819, Sirius 1838, great western 1838, Britannia 1840, Great Britain 1845, Persia 1856, great eastern 1859, oceanic 1871, kaiser wilhelm der grosse 1897, City of New York 1889, mMauretania 1907, titanic 1912, gripsholm 1925, Empress of Britain 1931, rex 1932, Normandie 1935, Queen Mary 1936, Enited States 1952, Queen Elizabeth 1940, and Queen Elizabeth 1969. A rare find and in such lovely condition for this exceptional 19th century French past and solid silver necklace. Excellent quality expertly made! This necklace is so pretty and feminine- Lovely Old Cut open backed FIREY glass paste Stones that sparkle like pale sapphires & diamonds – all collet set into fine galleried settings. The clasp is a pretty feature too and the stones are decorated around the total length of the neck so a beautiful necklace from all angles & not just the front. It has a main statement centre drop too! The sparkling paste stones glisten and shimmer like real gems which is the reason why they were so favoured by the aristocracy of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. This is all original set in solid silver which has been tested to confirm. (Unmarked as is usual for this period of jewellery). The drop of the paste pendant is 2 1/2 inches the spread is 1 1/4 inches. The total necklace measures around 16 inches around the neck with clasp closed. This is an absolutely stunning and very beautiful 4 piece full hunter case. It is made from SOLID good quality 0.935 silver. It is marked as such on the inside of all of the covers. I guarantee that it is solid 0.935 silver. This beautiful watch case is stunningly and fabulously decorated with a head and shoulders portrait in fantastic repousse work of King Edward VII of England. Around the portrait is the wording’Beloved of his people King Edward VII’ in raised lettering. The portrait is beautifully detailed in every way and is of very high quality. Turn the watch case over and there is a stunning repouse work head and shoulders portrait in full Naval costume of the next King of England after Edward who was George V. The silver work and fine detailing on this portrait is absolutely incredible! . Around this portrait are the words’Our sailor King H. King George V’ If this is not enough, when I open the case to reveal the dustcover is is ALSO beautifully decorated with repousse work with a beautifully detailed portrait of Queen Bodecia and the wording around her’The British Empire mourns Edward the Peacemaker’. All of the covers on this watch are in EXCELLENT condition showing only light wear. This absolutely stunning pocket watch measures 5.2cms (52mm) in diameter. All of the repousse work on the covers has the Artists signature at the bottom. It is hard to make out but may be’ADr Hauber’. THE SOLID SILVER CHAIN RING IS ALSO FANTASTIC AND IS BEAUTIFULLY FASHIONED INTO THE SHAPE OF A ROYAL CROWN!! THIS UNIQUE WATCH WEIGHS NEARLY 110 GRAMS. This beautiful watch has a RARE and stunning embossed silvered dial (probably solid silver but not tested) original dial. The dial is beautifully embossed with the British Monarchy Royal Coat of Arms! And is signed’Chronometer Prima’ on the bottom of the dial. I can see no damage and just a few light marks. The dial has its original silver bezel and a replacement new plexi crystal. The dial has beautiful black painted Roman numerals with a black outer minute track. The number 10 has lost a little paint. The blued steel hands are beautifully designed and are in excellent condition. The blued steel sub second hand is in excellent order as well. This is a wonderful 3/4 plate lever movement has a lovely gilt finish. The movement is numbered 105xxx. This beautiful movement is FULLY SIGNED’Chronometer Prima’ in a lovely typesetting and’15 rubis’. I do not however think that this is a Chronometer grade movement, but this is just my opinion. It is crown wind and lever set (on the inside of the case at the side of the dial) which work as they should. The movement is in excellent working order and has just had FULL SERVICE and new mainspring by my watchmaker. It is keeping decent time to within 3-5 mins a day as tested over a 24 hour period.
