Fabulous Antique RARE Solid Silver, Cherub & Scenic Cameo Brooch. Here is a really fabulous antique rare solid silver cherub & scenic cameo brooch/pendant. The brooch measures one & a quarter inches by one & a half inches and is all made of solid silver. The brooch is really lovely and has a shell cameo of a delightful scene of a cherub & lady in a really delightful scene in lovely carved detail. The brooch has a pin and rolling Cclasp working well and also a bail for wearing as a pendant and also has a mark for 800 for continental silver and dates to around the art deco era. This really is a lovely antique cameo in very good origional complete condition that is such an attractive rare example of this subject and certainly one for the serious collector. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Victorian Rare Quality Solid Silver & Scottish Banded Agate Buckle Bracelet1880s. Here is the most beautiful victorian quality solid silver & scottish banded agate buckle bracelet. The bracelet measures approx eight & a half inches all the way round & two sections measures approx one inch in diameter & the other two measuring threequarters of an inch by one inch and its all set in solid silver, although not marked where i can see, tested & guarranteed victorian solid silver. The bracelet consists of four sections with two which are rectangular shaped with three shaped bands across and are all inset with real scottish banded agate of carnelian, blue lace etc. The agate is encased in solid silver to either end which has lovely early chasings to it. The other two sections are beautifully shaped quatrefoil being held by silver wires across & then the centre having a silver ball finial The agate is just superb, all origional scottish banded agate with lovely colouring & specimen type sections of agate with a fabulous variety and really good strong banding and nicely polished. This bracelet comes complete with a fabulous silver belt buckle fastening, which is adjustable & nicely it is so well made that it is articulated & all over it is the most fabulous early chasings in fabulous detail. This bracelet is totally origional to the victorian period of around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height and this really is a fabulous origional example of this which is getting harder to find these days and i have never found such a fine quality buckle example as this in such good condition for its age & has obviously been very well looked after & treasured. However this really is a beautiful victorian bracelet in very good origional complete condition, that looks so lovely worn and most certainly will not disapoint and a fabulous rare antique example of these. This is a RARE example of a LALIQUE Solid Silver Journée award which is a day, or a set of days, used by either the government, or an association, to raise funds for particular causes. This one was for the 1915 Journée du Poilu, which means Day of the Soldier. It was sponsored by the Parliament of the French Government. To attract more donations, the fundraisers would commission popular engravers to create the awards. Over 635grams of solid hallmarked sterling silver. Limited edition set of the great liners of the north Atlantic from the Birmingham mint. This boxed set is one of a limited edition of 3000 of 20 solid sterling silver ingots depicting the history of these great liners. Each ingot weighs an ounce and is hallmarked for BM Birmingham 1977. The liners are: savannah 1819, Sirius 1838, great western 1838, Britannia 1840, Great Britain 1845, Persia 1856, great eastern 1859, oceanic 1871, kaiser wilhelm der grosse 1897, City of New York 1889, mMauretania 1907, titanic 1912, gripsholm 1925, Empress of Britain 1931, rex 1932, Normandie 1935, Queen Mary 1936, Enited States 1952, Queen Elizabeth 1940, and Queen Elizabeth 1969. Each ingot has a description of the liner on the reverse. The ingots are displayed in two blue velvet trays, encased in a sturdy wooden’treasure chest. A lovely boxed set for a silver or maritime collector. It took me years to find this, sadly I have to let it go myself now – it really is a treasure. .
