Solid silver ring from the Fulani people of Mali W. This ring has a heavily incised design on each of its 4 sides. More tribal jewelry & beads in my store. Square sides measure 10mm x 10mm. Inside circumference – 58.5mm. Approx size US 8 3/4. Weight – 62.0 (2.19 oz). The Fulani or Peul are a traditionally nomadic people of traders and cattle herders who live throughout W. Many have now settled to a life of farming although some still continue to follow their most prized possessions (cattle) seasonally in search of pasture. Stunning Antique Rare Mens Solid Silver & Armorial Intaglio Carnelian Seal Ring. Here is a really fabulous antique rare mens solid silver & armorial intaglio carnelian ring. The ring has a wide solid silver band around to a large rectangular setting measuring threequarters of an inch by just over one inch & is all set in solid silver, although not marked where i can see, tested & guarranteed solid silver. In the mount is inset with carnelian agate which has a rare armorial crest intaglio, seal which looks to be a engraved plinth with a fisted hand outstetched with a early axe or similiar. This ring is antique & as with wear may have minute nibbles to the agate, but certainly nothing that detracts, see pics, & although could be set in a later ring mount which is ring size M, but this ring most certainly ends itself to be resized up, which could be done very inexpensively by any working jeweller & with the gemstone it weighs 22g & is most certainly a mens ring. This really is a fabulous ring in very good origional complete condition & a fabulous rare quality example that looks very eyecatching worn. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
