Here I have an antique solid silver double sided locket pendant featuring a stunning portrait miniature of a child in the front (signed with the artist’s initials on the back of the paper when you look inside) and a lock of hair in the back. The rim surrounding the glazed front compartment is overlaid in 9ct rose gold and the edge pf the locket is set with sparkly white paste stones, as is the bale at the top. The back panel hinges out so you can look inside, and both the front and back have their original glass intact. As with many antique pieces, it unmarked but tests as solid silver. NB – any white spots on the portrait are just light glare. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 3.9cm high and 2.2cm wide. With the bale, it’s total length is 5.2cm. It weighs 14.8 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No missing paste stones and they all appear to be original. Just has the usual surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. VICTORIAN Solid SILVER Yellow & Rose Gold Floral Photo Locket c1900 & 16.5Chain. A fine, antique Victorian locket in solid silver, c1900, on a later chain. The locket does not bear any hallmarks but has been jeweller tested and is guaranteed silver. Beautifully decorative, the floral display to the front has roses & forget me nots picked out in yellow and rose gold. The back is plain silver. Inside are two period photos of a lady & gent, both framed without glass gent side frame is loose and prone to falling out.. Probably would be solved by new glass or plastic cover. Hinged bail to top of raised shoulders. Suspended from a later silver coloured metal chain of 16.5 length, with a bolt ring fastener. The chain has an unusual and attractive link. Measurements: locket is 1 7/8″ by 1″ (incl bail). Total weight: 15.86gms. In good antique condition; some scratches & pin prick ding to back of case; commensurate with age & use. Superb Victorian Solid Silver Wide Cuff Bangle, Rose Gold & Yellow, Gold Onlay

This is an excellent antique Victorian solid silver wide cuff bangle. It is stamped “Sterling Silver” and “Silver”. It is beautifully engraved and has onlaid rose gold roses and yellow gold leaves. It is approx 3.2 cm (1 1/4 inches) and the opening measures approx 5 cm x 6.4 cm (2 inches x 2 1/2 inches). The circumference of the inside is approx 18.8 cm. It has been only lightly cleaned to preserve its great vintage look. The bangle is in excellent antique condition with only minimal signs of wear entirely commensurate with age. Here I have an antique solid silver locket pendant. It’s beautifully engraved on the front with a floral design, surrounded by a 9k rose gold border, with silver beading running around the edge. It has a good sized bale and inside, there’s room for 2 photos – one side has it’s original removable frame, the other does not but if you cut the pic to the right size, there’s a little lip of silver it will sit behind and it will stay put. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale) measures 4.5cm high and 3.9cm wide (including the silver beads on the edge). With the bale, it’s total length is 6.5cm. It weighs 24.3 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Has a couple of very light pressure marks but they’re only noticeable on very close inspection. The hinge and closure work perfectly; it snaps shut and stays closed. Overall, it just has the usual light surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ. RARE Victorian SOLID SILVER & ROSE GOLD Unusual PARROT Bird Cockatoo LOCKET

Here I have an extremely unusual antique Victorian solid silver locket pendant. The design features an overlaid 9ct rose gold parrot (a cockatoo I believe), which is sitting on a perch with potted plants to either side. The overlaid silverwork at the top of the locket resembles drawn curtains and so gives the impression of peeking through a window into somebody’s lounge! Inside, it appears to be designed to hold a photo within the top part (behind a little lip in the silver) and the bottom half would be left empty, possibly meant for the engraving of initials or a hidden message within the locket. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tested and guaranteed solid high grade silver. It dates from circa 1880-90. The main body of the locket (without the bale) measures 4.3cm high and 3.5cm wide. With the bale, it’s total length is 5.4cm. It weighs 18.6 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No dinks or damage. Hinge and closure work perfectly – you have to push it quite hard to shut the locket but it then stays very firmly closed. There are no innards but as mentioned above, a photo would stay in place in the front half and the back half looks like it was never designed to hold one. The bale doesn’t look original but it’s a good replacement in that it’s soldered closed and is large enough to accommodate most chains. Overall, it’s in lovely order with just the usual light surface marks to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
