Very long antique Victorian hallmarked solid silver muff / guard chain. Each link is hallmarked with the lion passant. The clip is clearly hallmarked with the lion passant and the date letter U but the makers name. And the city assay stamp are however worn and I cannot read them. In very good condition. Size – If the chain was one on single chain it measures 56 inches. Attached to the clip it measures 28 inches doubled up. Weight – 63.9 grams.
