Edwardian Art Nouveau Solid Silver & Enamelled Pendant and Chain, 1909/10

Beautiful and high quality Edwardian pendant in sterling silver and kingfisher colour enamels. Typical art nouveau designs intertwined leaves but heart shaped and a heart on a link at the base. A mother of pearl disc sits amidst the leaves. The silver and enamel is in very good condition with a small area of enamel absent on the heart around the link hole. The pendant is fully hallmarked as made by W. D (probably William Devenport) assayed in Birmingham England, lion passant to indicate sterling silver, with a date letter to indicate 1909/1910. The pendant is enamelled front and reverse which indicates quality and care of manufacture. The chain is marked sterling. Length of silver chain 23cm drop. Length of pendant 8cm, length of solid silver pendant from top to the base of the heart 5.7cm. W idth of pendant at widest point 4.5cm. Please ask any questions or request further photos. Beautiful Vintage Quality Solid Silver Engraved Buckle Bangle, Chester, 1940. Here is a really beautiful vintage quality solid silver buckle bangle. The bangle measures just over two inches by two & a half inches with a depth of threequarters of an inch with the buckle part having a depth of just over one inch & all made of solid silver. This bangle is such quality & one of the best buckle bangles i have ever seen. The bangle has a plain back & then the front looks like a belt buckle & is beautifully engraved in really good detail & it has a unusual clasp that opens on the buckle, which opens on a hinge all working very well & it is not adjustable this is the size of it. Inside it has a full set of english hallmarks for Chester, silver & 1940 & makers mark of S&E & the buckle also has the lion mark & it also says To olga, from john, 5-11-40 & obviously this has been quite treasured, but has been worn, so with age & wear there is some marks & slight dents as you would associate with wear, but certainly nothing that i can see that detracts in any way, see pics. However this really is a beautiful vintage buckle bangle in very good origional complete condition & a really fabulous chester example & a real quality example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. The case is in very nice condition for its age, made of gold plated solid silver 0.800. Original 12 hours porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals.
