ANOTHER GREAT SOLID SILVER ROLEX POCKET WATCH WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIME. OFFERED TODAY IS THIS SOLID HALLMARKED ENGLISH SILVER ROLEX 1914 RARE POCKET WATCH. CASE: This fantastic original solid sterling silver double hinged watch case is in excellent condition for the age of this watch. The case sides have a smooth finish and the case back has no inscriptions. The case is fully hall marked for English Sterling 925 Silver and dates to 1914 (Birmingham Assay mark). It is stamped with the makers name of A. D (Aaron Luftkin Dennison) who were official case makers to ROLEX at this time. The case measures 4.7cms (47mm) in diameter excluding the crown. The bezel and case back are both hinged and work well. The case shows only normal wear scratches to the case back and maybe one or two tiny pin head dings. The solid silver dustcover is in good condition showing light scratching in places. DIAL: Wow this is one stunning white dial. It is in sensational ORIGINAL condition and looks beautiful. It is unsigned It has a lovely gloss finish and I can see NO hairlines or damage apart from a few tiny spots under magnification. The black painted ORIGINAL Roman numerals are fantastic and have a lovely finish, as does the black painted outer minute track. The hands are superb and are blued steel. They are in excellent condition. The dial also has a sub second dial which is in excellent condition. The crystal is a brand new plexi and as such is in minty condition! MOVEMENT: This stunning watch is fitted with its entirely original FULLY SIGNED ROLEX Swiss made high quality 15 jewels powerhouse. This may be a CHRONOMETER grade as it is fitted with a MICROMETRIC regulator. It is a top quality movement and is very high grade. It is FULLY SIGNED’ROLEX’ on the top plate. This beautiful movement has been FULLY SERVICED It is running sweetly, and is keeping good time. It winds and sets beautifully. The crown looks to be original and is in very good condition. The SOLID SILVER chain ring is in good condition with no undue wear. THIS IS A TRULY RARE ROLEX TIMEPIECE OF EXCELLENT QUALITY AND IN GREAT CONDITION! There is NO exception. Rockford’s Fine 18size Men’s Hunting Watch, 1880′s. In good running condition! Movement in marked Rockford watch Co. This dates it to about 1881. Its a keywind, keyset watch with 11 jewels. The solid silver Hunting (closed face) is in good condition with some wear. No name engravings anywhere. Front pops open correctly with nice spring. It is marked Dueber Coin inside covers. Circle diameter at 2 1/8. To set watch, must pop open bezel from bottom and turn hand centerpost with key. Watch runs good and keeps reasonable/good time. Great watch to carry or for collection! Superb Art Nouveau Rare Solid Silver & Foil Glass/Enamel Brooch, Chester1909, HCF. Here is the most fabulous art nouveau rare solid silver & foil glass brooch. The brooch measures one inch by just over one & a quarter inches & is all set in solid silver. This brooch is truly superb & totally epitomises the stylish art nouveau fine quality jewellery by english silversmiths. Very finely made with an unusual turned twist border design to a central panel that has a beautiful foil glass panel that looks like enamel in the typical colours of the era in blue to green, which gives a stunning finish. On the back is a pin & Cclasp working well & it has a full set of english hallmarks for Chester, silver & 1909 & HCF for the fine quality silversmith of Henry Charles Freeman. This really is a rare example & i have never seen another by this maker of this quality. This really is a beautiful art nouveau brooch in very good origional complete condition that is as wearable as when it was first made & a rare quality chester fine quality collectable example. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
