Engraved on the dust cover: “Fabrique pour Vacheron et Constantin”. And stamped 900 with a standing bear, the initials “V&C” and the ever so famous Vacheron’s “MALTESE CROSS”. According to the official Vacheron & Constantin forum – “the hour lounge”. In order to offer to the public a lower priced line of watches bearing their important name. From around the 1910s V&C commissioned to other watchmakers the production of high grade watch movements. This watches were marked “Fabriqué pour V&C” (that translates “made for V&C”). Unsigned high grade lever movement, jewelled, ticks only if put face down, so it is STRICTLY for SPARES ONLY. Solid Silver 900 case, circa 33 mm diameter. The hinge of the back cover is broken and the cover comes off when opened. DIAL : Unsigned, it may have few age marks but no visible cracks. HANDS: The hour hand is a replacement and the second hand is missing. Is a domed glass replacement, seem in good conditions. VERY RARE BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD AND SOLID SILVER POCKET WATCH HOLDER. I present to your consideration this very beautiful and very rare pocket watch holder. The pocket watch holder has a very beautiful classic shape with two columns, a. Pediment and a base. The pediment and the columns base are ornate with very beautiful low relief solid silver embossed work. This embossed work made on the solid silver consists in compositions of vegetable and geometric elements. On the center of the pediment ornament in heart shape there is a cartouche inscribed with the initials «J M»: the lettering is very beautiful. The solid silver ornaments are very detailed, well made and have a classic design. The hook is also solid silver. All the watch holder is entirely made in massive solid Brazilian rosewood (pau-santo) one of the best woods in the world. The Brazilian rosewood is a very heavy and hard wood. Now a day is a protected specimen very hard to fund. The rosewood makes a great contrast with the silver parts and gives a great look. I think that this pocket watch holder was made in the late 19th century. It is in very good condition. It is in perfect condition for today´s use. It stands up firmly. This very beautiful and very rare pocket watch holder is a great addition to your pocket watch collection. Please see the photos that are part of the description. Official Portuguese mark wild boar head for solid silver 833. This mark was used between 1889 and 1938. Maker mark not identified. Height 158mm (6.22in), length 126mm (4.94in), and depth 65mm (2.55in). The pocket watch holder is in very good condition. The only item on sale is the pocket watch holder. Victorian Rare Solid Silver & Scottish Agate Specimen Pietra Dura Brooch, 1880s. Here is a really fabulous victorian solid silver & scottish agate specimen pietra dura brooch. The brooch measures just over half an inch by just over two & a half inches and is all set in victorian solid silver, not marked but tested & guarranteed as such. This brooch is a fabulous scottish specimen brooch in a unusual pietra dura style & all inset with all different kinds of real scottish agates etc in sections, flat cut, polished with there lovely colours & natural markings, bandings with some unusual agates i have not seen before or the markings in a fabulous quality design. Nicely this brooch is encased in thick solid silver to the back & comes complete with its pin & Cclasp working well. This brooch dates to the victorian period around the 1880s when scottish jewellery was at its height of popularity and some fabulous pieces were made & yet again i have never seen one exactly the same as this one before, so a very interesting example and as with age it does have minute nibbles & a couple of cracked lines, which you would expect with age & wear, but nothing that i can see that detracts, but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian brooch in good origional complete condition as stated and such a lovely rare collectable example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. But remember all my items are antique, vintage and pre owned, which is totally different to new. Please look at photos, pics carefully, sizes, and read the whole listing. Stunning Solid Silver Victorian Hinged Bangle in fantastic condition with the original box. Full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1885. It features a raised central section with ball decorations to the front and the rear is plain sterling silver. The condition is fantastic for a vintage bangle thats over 130 years old. No significant dents, dings, bumps, bruises etc and left in original condition. Width 25 mm Inside circmference measures 6.75 inches around Weight 44.4 grams (1.5 ounces). It clips firmly with a push to open strong clip and also has a safety chain.
