IWC pocket watch I. International Watch Co Schaffhausen Solid Silver cal 52 IWC pocketwatch from 1923. IWC Schaffhausen Solid Silver Pocket watch from 1907. This is a genuine, solid silver International Watch Co. 52 pocket watch from 1907 in mint condition. The original enamel dial is in mint condition, the original Louis XV-style hands look very nice on the dial. Original case and dust cap have been made of solid 0.800 silver, case diameter is 50 mm not counting the original crown. Case is in mint condition. Original lépine IWC 52 – 19lig. H 6 1/2 has been cleaned, is running perfectly and keeps excellent time. Movement has Breguet overcoil hairspring, bimetallic balance, swan’s neck regulator and 15 jewels. This pocket watch has crown-wind, pin-set movement: a small pin next to the watch-stem at 11 o’clock had to be depressed before turning the crown to set the time and releasing the pin when the correct time had been set. I understand my customer’s needs, and provide vintage watches that meet or exceed their expectations. My watches are in all original, factory condition. As far as the strap and buckle are concerned, please see description. I do not deal in marriage watches. I do not deal in watches with refinished, repainted dials. From a vintage collectors point of view, a refinished dial diminishes the value of a watch. Many refinished dials don’t last as long and are not as durable as original dials. VERY RARE BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD AND SOLID SILVER POCKET WATCH HOLDER. I present to your consideration this very beautiful and very rare pocket watch holder. The pocket watch holder has a very beautiful classic shape with two columns, a. Pediment and a base. The pediment and the columns base are ornate with very beautiful low relief solid silver embossed work. This embossed work made on the solid silver consists in compositions of vegetable and geometric elements. On the center of the pediment ornament in heart shape there is a cartouche inscribed with the initials «J M»: the lettering is very beautiful. The solid silver ornaments are very detailed, well made and have a classic design. The hook is also solid silver. All the watch holder is entirely made in massive solid Brazilian rosewood (pau-santo) one of the best woods in the world. The Brazilian rosewood is a very heavy and hard wood. Now a day is a protected specimen very hard to fund. The rosewood makes a great contrast with the silver parts and gives a great look. I think that this pocket watch holder was made in the late 19th century. It is in very good condition. It is in perfect condition for today´s use. It stands up firmly. This very beautiful and very rare pocket watch holder is a great addition to your pocket watch collection. Please see the photos that are part of the description.
