Over 635grams of solid hallmarked sterling silver. This boxed set is one of a limited edition of 3000 of 20 solid sterling silver ingots depicting the history of these great liners. Each ingot weighs an ounce and is hallmarked for BM Birmingham 1977. The liners are: savannah 1819, Sirius 1838, great western 1838, Britannia 1840, Great Britain 1845, Persia 1856, great eastern 1859, oceanic 1871, kaiser wilhelm der grosse 1897, City of New York 1889, mMauretania 1907, titanic 1912, gripsholm 1925, Empress of Britain 1931, rex 1932, Normandie 1935, Queen Mary 1936, Enited States 1952, Queen Elizabeth 1940, and Queen Elizabeth 1969. Each ingot has a description of the liner on the reverse. The ingots are displayed in two blue velvet trays, encased in a sturdy treasure chest. Also includes a very rare original information sheet. Absolutely beautiful you will not be disappointed. Superb little Georgian solid silver keepsake locket pendant with gilt interior, the exterior would have originally been gold plated but this has worn away over the passage of time leaving a slight gold hue, the locket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1831 and bears the makers mark of renowned silversmith Joseph Willmore, in good condition for age with one minor ding to front, no damage or repairs, slight play to hinge but works fine, beautiful design on front and rear, locket measures 35mm including suspension ring x 24mm wide, weighs 8.3 grams. Lovely Lemon silver guilloche powder mirrored compact. Fully hallmarked, H&H Ld, Anchor, Lion Passant, Date Letter F for 1930 on the base rim and also stamped with Lion and F on the upper rim. The lovely Lemon guilloche enamel designed in a very pretty pattern, is in super condition with no loss to the enamel whatsoever. The base is of plain silver. Opens and closes fine and hinges are also fine. The mirror is in super condition also with no movement and no scratches. This compact has been used, there are traces of face powder inside. There is no powder puff with the compact. Measures 5 cm (2) diam. Great handy size for use in a small evening bag! Only one small ding to the outer rim at the base, otherwise in lovely used condition. A lovely item from a bygone era and can be used today…..
