Antique Solid-Silver Pocket Watch with Cylinder-Type Movement. Stylish antique pocket watch with cylinder-type movement, solid-silver casing and hand-engraved decoration. It was made in Switzerland for the German market and remains in really good condition. The movement contains 6 jewels and very well preserved too, being also in good working order. The watchs dial is protected by the original glass cap; it is made of white porcelain and boasts a very elegant design. It bears black Arab numerals; the small numerals that indicate the real hours (from 1 to 24) are painted blue. It mounts Louis XV gold-plated-metal hands. The rear cap is made of gold-plated solid silver; it bears a fine guilloche grain-like decoration and lean central shield. Engraved in its inner side we can see the Swiss and German silver hallmarks, the silver proportion (0,800) and the serial number 4970. This number can also be seen engraved in the gold-plated metal dustcap.
