Beautiful Art Nouveau Solid Silver & Enamel James Fenton Liberty Pendant. Here is a really fabulous art nouveau solid silver & enamel james fenton pendant. The pendant measures nearly one & a quarter inches in diameter and is all made of solid silver. The pendant is really lovely with its fantastic unusual quality design which totally epitomises the era and then guilloched in enamel of blue & green, purple with a type of early cross cleverly hidden in the design. On the back is a good size bail working well and it has full english hallmarks for Birmingham, silver & 1909 and makers mark of J. F, for James Fenton, which although rubbed you can still make out who is the renowned top quality maker of this kind of jewellery who made pieces like this that were retailed at libertys and this piece is quite unusual of his work as i never seen one in this style and as with age there is a some loss to the enamel which you would expect with age & wear, but certainly nothing that i think detracts but see pics and make your own mind up. This really is a beautiful piece of art nouvea enamel jewellery in good origional complete condition from a top quality maker and a unusual example. Please note the white in the 1st picture is a photo reflection. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
