HEAVY SOLID SILVER PELS OWL FIGURES PAIR 1.2KG! 1998 BULLION INGOT INVESTMENT. Was told when bought that only 4 of these where commissioned for a family they are incredibly heavy and are solid silver. I have some paperwork from the assay office that I will include in the sale. Modelled on a Pels fishing owl? I’m not interested in scrap offers or anywhere near that they are incredible items and would cost into the thousands to have made today. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1998 with the family’s hallmark design. Stand at approx 10cm. Total silver weight approx 1.2kg 1219 grams sterling silver. These are solid not filled! Excellent condition but one owl does have one claw missing and doesn’t sit 100% flat he also has a tiny rattle as if something small is inside it. Hardly a issue when displayed. I think he’s probably been like this since made and a error in the casting. Could do with a proper polish they are currently slightly different colours. Any further questions or photos welcome.
