Simply Beautiful Large Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Ruskin Brooch. The brooch is all. Set in solid silver with a understated rope edging. The brooch is then inset with the most fabulous plaque of Ruskin pottery with colours of turquoise & peacock blue. On the back is a pin & C clasp working well, the pin has a slight curve to it. It dates to the arts & craft era, the Ruskin mark may be covered by the silver backing, so it not visible, but this is not unusual as so many pieces were not marked, but this piece is definitely a quality piece. The brooch has crazing and pitting in area’s, but. You would expect this with a piece of this age. And you’ll find it’s getting harder to find larger undamaged pieces like this. This really is a fabulous arts & craft Ruskin brooch. And such a beautiful example. 5 cm’s / just shy of 2 inches diameter. All pottery in tact. Crazing & mild pitting. Very slight bend in the pin. Rockford’s Fine 18size Men’s Hunting Watch, 1880′s. In good running condition! Movement in marked Rockford watch Co. This dates it to about 1881. Its a keywind, keyset watch with 11 jewels. The solid silver Hunting (closed face) is in good condition with some wear. No name engravings anywhere. Front pops open correctly with nice spring. It is marked Dueber Coin inside covers. Circle diameter at 2 1/8. To set watch, must pop open bezel from bottom and turn hand centerpost with key. Watch runs good and keeps reasonable/good time. Great watch to carry or for collection! Vintage Art Nouveau c1910 Large Solid Silver Dragonfly Brooch Morpho Butterfly Wing A stunning sterling silver and butterfly wing dragonfly brooch in the style of a Thomas L Mott Most (there is no TLM mark but it certainly looks like his work), made between 1900 and 1910. The large wings are inlaid with butterfly wing topped with a lovely, cabochon rock crystal. It is in very good antique condition with just some minor discolouration to the butterfly wing on both tips of the wings (please view photos) and light tarnishing and tiny dents to the silver in places It comes in a vintage box from a similar era It is marked to its rear with’Silver. 3′ It measures 80.88mm wide by 62.12mm high and weighs 18.73 grammes Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description Please view my other listings.
