Fabulous Edwardian Rare Solid Silver Butterfly Wing Cameo Brooch. Here is a beautiful edwardian rare solid silver butterfly wing brooch. The brooch measures threequarters of an inch by nearly one & a quarter inches and is all set in solid silver. The brooch has a lovely early engraved rope style border and inset is a real butterfly wing which has lost some of its intense irredescent blue colour, so is brown in places, but this doesnt detract as it has the most fabulous sulphide cameo of a mythological lady in fabulous detail of a goddess & eagle in very good clear detail and then domed by glass. The butterfly wing is quite beautiful with its fabulous irredescent colours of blue and this kind of jewellery was very popular in the victorian- edwardian eras and you see some lovely ones & this is a rare cameo example & i have not seen one similiar of this subject before. This brooch has a pin & Cclasp working well & on the back it is marked for sterling silver, made in england, pt no-220213 and dates to around the edwardian era and just has wear as you would expect with age. This really is a lovely edwardian quality butterfly wing cameo brooch in good origional complete condition and a really lovely rare subject cameo example of these & certainly one for the serios collector. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history. Fab Victorian Rare Austro Hungarian Solid Silver, Enamel & Seed Pearl Bangle. Here is a really beautiful victorian rare austro hungarian solid silver, enamel & seed pearl bangle. The bangle measures two inches by two & a quarter inches with a depth of half an inch & is all made of solid silver. This bangle is really lovely all made of silver which is then black enamelled with the top having a beautiful typical victorian silver engraving in lovely detail that is then highlighted & inset with real seed pearl which gives a overall lovely effect. The bangle nicely has a lovely engraved silver hinge & clasp working very well & it has a safety chain that is gold coloured. The bangle has a number & other mark & the clasp has the silver hallmark for austro hungarian & the bangle dates clearly to the victorian era & as with age there is a two seed pearls missing, which can be easily replaced if necessary & there is a chip out of the enamel by the clasp but this isnt obvious as its still got the black enamel underneath so certainly doesnt detract but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. However this really is a lovely antique bangle in good origional complete condition as stated & a lovely rare example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
