ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER RARE OMEGA VERY COLLECTIBLE WATCH FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE! AN EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL FULLY WORKING ENGLISH MANS CIRCA 1908 SOLID SILVER EXTREMELY RARE AND UNUSUAL SQUARE OMEGA POCKET WATCH. The particular thing that strikes me with this watch is that the hands are shaped at the ends into the OMEGA symbol. The caseback is repousse engraved with a Bobsleigh team on the Bobsleigh and the word’Holy’? With a second word unfortunately rubbed away. This watch is such an unknown but my’spidey’ senses are tingling as to its historical importance as far as watches go and it may end up in the Omega museum. If anyone can give me more information please do, I would be grateful. For now, I have priced it at what I think it is worth but it could be worth much more with its history known. SERVICED AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. The stunning SQUARE case to this genuine OMEGA pocketwatch is in very good condition. It is unsigned and does not seem to be stamped as to what quality of silver it is but it is DEFINITELY SOLID SILVER. There are two main engravings to this wonderful watch case. The first is a fantastic REPOUSSE engraving to the case back which shows a Winter scene in the background and in the foreground there is a 5 man Bobsleigh team on a Bobsleigh speeding down a hill. The word’Bobsleigh’ in engraved into the case and a smaller word which looks like’Holy’ as well. The dustcover is marked celebrating the Grand Prix of 1900 and shows the medals won by Omega at this event. The watch case is in good condition showing only light wear to the case back repousse work (see photos) and a little marking where the watch back has been opened and light scratches/nibbles etc through use. But in all this is a beautiful watch case. I have gently polished the case, and it is shining nicely, as only real silver can. THE WATCH MEASURES 4.8CMS (48mm) across/height. This lovely Omega pocket watch has a its stunningly beautiful original white dial. It is fully signed’OMEGA’ at the top of the dial. It is in EXCELLENT original condition showing two small hairlines at 5 0′clock and one very smal one at 11 o’clock that I can see. There were a few edge chips but these have been touched in by my watchmaker (slightly visible at 1 and 2 o’clock) It has lovely black painted Arabic numerals contained within a a black painted’Railway’ outer minute track. The dial also has a subsidiary dial which is in good condition (small touch up to the centre). The crystal is glass and seems to be original. As such it shows some light marks across its entirety. The beautiful blued steel watch hands and are in EXCELLENT condition with light oxidisation. THESE ARE STUNNING ORIGINAL HANDS AS THE ENDS ARE SHAPED INTO THE OMEGA SYMBOL! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER OMEGA POCKET WATCH WITH THIS TYPE OF HANDS BEFORE. This is a beautiful SWISS made genuine frosted gilt JEWELLED LEVER movement. It is FULLY SIGNED by OMEGA in a beautiful typesetting. The watch has been FULLY SERVICED by my watch maker. It is numbered (ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE DIAL) 3665684. This dates this exceptional OMEGA watch to between 1906 and 1910. The watch keeps good time as tested over a 24 hour period. This pocket watch has been serviced by my watchmaker at considerable cost. It runs well and winds and sets smoothly. The GOLD crown silver and chain ring look original and are in excellent condition. Please remember that vintage watches have survived for many decades by being treated well. Vintage watches are not for wearing while doing yard work, working out, or swimming. Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 mins per day. They are a little more destructible than modern watches. Vintage watches also require periodic service and cleaning. Every couple of years, they would like their 20,000 mile checkup, oil change, and general service. By taking care of your vintage watch, you will have years of great service, and a quality heirloom to pass to another generation. Please do not waste anyones time if you are not interested. Stunning Georgian cufflinks by John Rich whom worked in. From 1789 to 1810 (registered Jun 1765). This is a wonderful VERY RARE example of Georgian 1794 Solid Sterling Silver cufflinks. They are beautifully finished with superb detail, plus still having crisp and clear hallmarks (which is extremely rare). The condition is just excellent, even though they are 223 Years Old. You just done come across fully hallmarked Georgian cufflinks so please take your time to look at the attached photos (which I must apologize for, as the photos are a very poor representation of their true beauty). I have set a very starting price on them, with No Reserve, even though you will be very hard pushed to find another pair with such a quality look and finish. The details are. Including capsule, wooden box, and numbered certificate! 1st coin with a ground hardware from the space shuttles. Unique design featuring shuttles pictures in Gold plated finish. 6 shuttles in one coin. Pure silver 1 ounce 99.9%. Very low mintage of just 500 coins in the world. A wooden box with color theme application. Legal tender collectible silver coin of Niue Island (New Zealand Dollar). Serial number on the Certificate of Authenticity 6 SHUTTLES ON THE COIN WITH A REAL SPACE FLOWN MATERIAL. The coin includes the flown mix is flown hardware (like thermal insulation, flown metal pins from the space shuttle payload bay and flown bolts, flown nuts and flown washers). Everything was ground into a powder like mixture with some larger pieces. ENTERPRISE: Designated OV­101, Enterprise was the prototype shuttle and rolled out for the first time on 17 September 1976. Built without engines or a working heat shield for use as a test­bed, she was originally meant to be retrofitted for spaceflight, but design changes and other cheaper options meant it wasnt to be. She was restored and placed on display at the Smithsonian in Virginia until 2012 when she was moved to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York. COLUMBIA: The second to be built but the first space­rated orbiter, Columbia, designated OV­102, launched for the first time on mission STS­1 on April 12, 1981. In the next 22 years, she completed 27 missions but disintegrated during re­entry on mission STS­ 107 on 01 February 2003, killing all seven members of the crew. CHALLENGER: The second space­rated orbiter, Challenger (OV­099) had its maiden flight on 04 April 1983. She made nine flights successfully before breaking up 73 seconds after launch on the tenth, STS­51L on 28 January 1986. The crew of seven was killed and the shuttle fleet grounded for two and a half years as a result. DISCOVERY: After her first flight on 30 August 1984, OV­103 went on to complete 39 missions in the next 27 years. She was the first shuttle to retire, having undertaken more spaceflights than any other vehicle, including lifting the Hubble telescope and International Space Station parts into orbit. Her last mission was STS­133 on 24 February 2011. Discovery now lives in the Smithsonian Institutions National Air and Space Museum. ATLANTIS: Given the designation OV­104, Atlantis first flew on mission STS­51­J between the 3rd and 7th of October, 1985. She undertook the final ever shuttle mission (STS­135), her 33rd, on 08 July 2011. Over a successful career, Atlantis had orbited the Earth 4,848 times, covering a staggering 126 million miles. She is displayed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. ENDEAVOUR: The fifth and final space­worthy shuttle to be built (OV­105), Endeavour was constructed partly from spares to replace the tragically lost Challenger. She undertook 25 missions between May 1992 (STS­49) and May 2011 (STS­134). She currently resides at the California Science Center awaiting a new display.
