Lovely Victorian Scottish Solid Silver & Malachite Brooch, 1880s. Here is a lovely victorian scottish solid silver & malachite brooch. The brooch measures nearly two inches in diameterand is all set in solid silver, although not marked tested & guarranteed victorian silver. The brooch has a lovely rusched oval roundel style & a lovely design star central design with early engravings and all inset with flat cut polished real malachite, with its lovely green colour & natural markings. The brooch has a Cclasp but is missing its pin, which can be easily replaced and dates to around the 1880s, when scottish jewellery was at its height and this is a lovely example, but as with age & wear it does have some nibbles & cracks to the agate, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian brooch in very good origional complete condition as stated and such a nice example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
