Here I have an antique solid silver locket pendant. It features a very ornate hand-engraved ivy leaf pattern on the front. In Victorian symbolism, ivy represented a strong bond between 2 people, whether they were married partners or best friends. On the back is a nicely engraved set of monogrammed initials. Inside , it contains the original glass and frame in one side, and just the frame in the other. As with many antique pieces, it’s unmarked but tests as solid silver. The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 5.1cm high and 4.0cm wide. Weighs 23.5 grams. Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. The hinge and closure work well and it snaps shut nicely. Overall, it just has the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique item. International buyers PLEASE READ.
